An owner run modern chalet with spectacular views and real home from home experience
This modern chalet is located in a quiet location on the edge of Villard Late about 1 km from the main lift system in Chantemerle. It provides an ideal base for a family wanting a quiet location. It enjoys a particularly sunny aspect facing south with open views of the Italian Mountains to the west and the Prorel Mountain to the south. The hosts Alec and Jane live in on the lower floor. Secure garage parking is available where skis and boots can also be left. The chalet is on route of the local ski bus which passes the entrance regularly throughout the day.
Ground Floor
The main access is to the ground floor consisting of a living room with an enclosed log fire providing heating to the whole building which is insulated to a very high standard. Main meals are taken in the living room. The main wooden structure with exposed beams is complimented by modern furniture and pastel wall colours and furnishings.
First floor
There are three bedrooms on the second floor, one double with a private bathroom with shower and WC and two twin bedded rooms sharing a bathroom with bath and WC. All bedrooms are spacious with plenty storage space.
Meals
- Drinks before evening meal (6 days).
- Breakfast (7 days) with cereals, yoghurt, boiled eggs, fresh orange juice.
- Home baked croissants and French bread, preserves, fresh fruit, coffee/tea/chocolate served any time within reason.
- Afternoon tea and coffee with homemade cake from 4.30pm onwards.
- Four course evening meal (6 nights) with starter, main course often of local specialities but with English theme, dessert, fresh fruit and coffee or tea.
- Unlimited French wines available throughout the evening meal.
