Travel by Train
By day
There are scheduled services using Eurostar from London, Ebbsfleet or Ashford via Paris and then SNCF TGV services to Oulx (Italy) for Serre Chevalier. This trans-Alpine service enables access to the ski resort in a day. At Oulx there is a transfer coach to Serre Chevalier taking about 50 minutes.
By night
Using Eurostar from London , Ebbsfleet or Ashford on Friday afternoon and changing at Lille or Paris enables skiers to arrive in Briançon early on Saturday morning enabling an extra days skiing in the resort. On this overnight sleeper both 1st and 2nd class couchette accommodation is available. Transfer times from Briançon station are a few minutes depending on the location of accommodation.
